I taught first grade for 3 years in Las Vegas and 2 years in Massachusetts before spending a couple years home taking care of my boys. I am currently a K-2 Literacy Tutor working with small groups and providing push-in support to teach students the best reading and writing strategies to be successful.
I believe in making learning tactile! Our young students need to see and feel their learning taking place in front of them. I like to give real world, applicable problems whenever possible so students can see the direct impact their learning has on them. I believe our students should enjoy learning and have fun with it!
